Basic course

The basic course in Positive Psychotherapy consists in theory knowledge, practical therapeutic skills, self-knowledge, know-how of WIPPF inventory, psychodynamics, partnership, working with stories and wisdoms, cases study. Students get respective qualification and certificate from  World Association of Positive Psychotherapy (WAPP), Germany, by passing an exam. 
Participants: only for participants who have obtained their bachelor university degree or who are about to finish their academic studies (have at least already completed their basic studies) in the socio-humanistic, psychological or medical field. Duration (total of 200 hours): 

-          120 hours of theory, practice and self-discovery in PPT: seminars in a minimum time of 6 months (minimum 3 seminars)

-          80 hours of homework:

                     30 hours of regular intervision group

                     40 hours of obligatory basic bibliography (books on Positive Psychotherapy) - at the end of the first year the trainees have to study some of the basic literature of PPT. Recommended books:'Oriental stories as tools in Positive Psychotherapy' and 'Positive Family Psychotherapy' or 'Psychotherapy for everyday life'

                     10 hours exam (written homework, self-discovery): Describe one´s development in Positive Psychotherapy with self-reflection and based on the study of the recommended literature of Positive Psychotherapy. 5 pages.

-         Written records of the homework are necessary

-         Regular participation at recommended work groups between the seminars. 

Certificate: 

The participant has to fulfill the above mentioned requirements to obtain the certificate as 'Basic Consultant of Positive Psychotherapy'.

The Certificate will be awarded after the examination (oral colloquium based on the written homework) by the trainer at the end of the last seminar. It will be issued, stamped and signed by WAPP.

After each seminar the participant will receive a 'Certificate of Attendance' (issued by the organizer, signed by the trainer).
